48-Year-Old Bernard Christian Uhler II Was Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX)

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on Wednesday. The officials confirmed that one person died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was identified as 48-year-old Bernard Christian Uhler II. 

Around 12:26 p.m., the crash happened south of Copperas Cove. Ulher II was driving a 2007 BMW passenger car southbound on FM 116 while a 2023 Toyota pickup was travelling northbound. 

Ulher crossed over the centre turn lane, travelled into the northbound lane, and collided head-on with the Toyota pickup. The Toyota was fully engulfed in flames after the collision.

The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
