A tragic motor vehicle accident unfolded in Texarkana, East Texas, resulting in the death of a 47-year-old man who was hit by a KCS train. The Texarkana Texas Police Department responded to the scene around 4:30 a.m., following a call to the KCS train tracks just north of Richmond Rd.
Despite the prompt response, the man was found to be fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is not yet known at this time.
While foul play is not suspected, authorities are diligently investigating the circumstances to determine why the man was on the train tracks at that time of the night. The details surrounding the fatal crash are yet to be fully understood.
