47-Year-Old Brandon Mast Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Bellingham (Bellingham, WA)

The Bellingham Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Saturday night. The collision involved two vehicles.

Close to a crosswalk on North Samish Way, 47-year-old Brandon Mast was initially struck by a car, according to BPD Lt. Claudia Murphy. The motorist admitted to police that they did not notice Mast until he had been hit.

A second vehicle was unable to avoid Mast, who was still lying on the road, despite seeing that the first vehicle had stopped.

Police further stated that the accident was unrelated to drugs or alcohol. The fatal collision is being investigated by the officials. Additional details regarding the crash are not currently available.
