The police reported a motorcycle accident in Huntington Beach at 9 p.m. on Monday. According to the officials, Martinez was riding north on Gothard when he lost control of his Harley-Davidson.
He veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a Honda Civic at Gothard Street. He was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Honda was driven by a 66-year-old woman. Her identity has not been disclosed at this time.
She was not injured in the accident. She is cooperating with the police in the ongoing investigation. It is not known if alcohol or drugs played a role in this collision. There are no other details available at this time.
