46-Year-Old Michael Clark Killed In A Motorcycle Crash In Mesa (Mesa, AZ)

A tragic crash on the US 60 eastbound near Dobson Road in the East Valley late Tuesday night resulted in the death of a motorcyclist and a subsequent shutdown of the busy freeway.

According to DPS troopers, the incident occurred around 11 p.m. when an 18-year-old driver was speeding in a 2024 Chevy Corvette and collided with 46-year-old Michael Clark, who was riding in the HOV lane.

The impact caused Clark to strike the concrete wall and be thrown off his bike, resulting in fatal injuries. Despite the Corvette driver’s efforts to administer CPR, Clark succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The Corvette driver remained at the site and was unharmed.
