Authorities identified 46-year-old Giovanni Cespedes, of Santa Ana, as the victim who was killed following a three-vehicle wreck on 215 Freeway on November 2.
The investigation reports showed that authorities actively responded to the crash site at 6:34 p.m. near Barton Road exit. The reports also revealed that a gray 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle, a semi-truck, and a white Buick Encore were involved in the wreck.
The reports also added that Cespedes was down in the No. 3 lane while the Buick ended up in the center divider. Cespedes died at the scene while another person was trapped by the big rig’s trailer that rolled over. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time.
An investigation continues.
