46-Year-Old Anthony Branden Sipes Killed In A Fatal Bicycle Crash In Tucson (Tucson, AZ)

According to the Tucson Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Thursday in Tucson. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the bicycle accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred near the 6000 block of E. 22nd Street, near S. Alamo Avenue. The deceased bicyclist was identified as 46-year-old Anthony Branden Sipes.

Sipes was driving his bicycle eastbound when he was struck from behind. The vehicle that hit him was identified as a 2014 Cadillac CTS. Sipes was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.

Other insights pertaining to the collision remain unknown. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The crash continues to be investigated by the TPD.
