According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Antelope Valley on Monday. The crash happened near Pearblossom (18) Highway at around 1:13 a.m.
According to the investigators, an unknown vehicle and a stalled vehicle were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the driver of the unknown vehicle crashed into an unknown stalled vehicle.
45-year-old Ricardo Llanos Diaz suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the deputies, it is unclear what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were a factor involved. The fatal crash is being investigated by the Antelope Police. There are no other details available at this time.
