45-Year-Old Man Killed In A Motor Vehicle Collision In Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA)

The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle collision that killed a 45-year-old man in Bakersfield on Wednesday. The accident occurred on northbound Highway 99, south of Highway 119, at around 3:30 a.m.

According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in a collision. A car and a big rig crashed into each other. The events leading up to the crash are not entirely clear at this time. The driver of one of the vehicles was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
