Cleveland police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of a 45-year-old man. The tragedy unfolded on Tuesday, April 16, around 10:30 p.m.
The victim, identified as Jamel Rodriguez by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner, was crossing Scranton Road near Kinkel Avenue. According to authorities, a white two-door pickup truck struck Rodriguez, who succumbed to his injuries after being transported to the hospital.
The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene following the collision. Cleveland police are urging anyone with information about the incident or the vehicle involved to come forward and assist with their investigation.
