44-Year-Old Woman Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Walla Walla (Walla Walla, WA)

The Washington State Police reported a multi-vehicle accident east of Walla Walla on January 10. The accident occurred four miles east of Walla Walla on US 12, near milepost 344, at around 5 a.m.

According to the officials, two vehicles – a suburban and a Tahoe – were driving in the opposite direction when they collided in the center of the road. Following the crash, the 57-year-old driver of the Tahoe and their 62-year-old passenger sustained severe injuries and were transported to the hospital. 

The driver of the Suburban, a 44-year-old Dayton woman, was transported to Providence St. Mary Medical Center where was pronounced dead. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
