On Tuesday afternoon, 44-year-old Michael Williams lost his life after being hit by a vehicle in Fresno.
As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run crash took place shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Olive Avenue and Cedar Avenue. The early reports revealed that a vehicle struck a man for undetermined reasons. On arrival, responders found Williams down in the road. Medics transported him to the hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Officers are searching for the hit-and-run driver. The involved vehicle was described as a white truck that was last seen eastbound Olive toward Maple. No other details are immediately available.
