The Gilbert Police Department had previously reported a fatal motor vehicle crash on Tuesday afternoon. The accident happened close to Lindsay and Williams Field Roads at around 5:30 p.m.
The collision involved two vehicles. A Dodge Ram truck collided with a Chevy Colorado driven by a 49-year-old woman as she attempted to turn left near Williams Field and Lindsay roads.
44-year-old Allen Joseph William was identified as the victim who was reported to have died at the scene. The woman was seriously injured and transported to the hospital for treatment. Her identity and present state are still not known at this time.
The fatal collision is being investigated by the officials. Additional information regarding the deadly rollover crash is not available currently.
