The Longview Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Wednesday.
The driver of a Ford Mustang allegedly lost control while driving northbound on Judson Road and spun into the path of southbound traffic. The vehicle collided with a Ford SUV, According to the officials.
According to the officials, the driver of the Mustang, Monica Brock, 43, of Daingerfield, was taken to a nearby hospital where she later passed away from her wounds.
It is unsure what caused the crash. Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found.
The fatal collision is being investigated by the officials. Additional details regarding the crash are not available currently.
