According to the Michigan Police, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Jackson County on Tuesday.
The crash happened near Reed Road in Liberty Township at around 4:30 p.m.
The Police stated that the driver of the car was driving a 2015 Kia Optima.
He re-entered the highway, crossing all the lanes of traffic and causing the vehicle to overturn multiple times.
The driver of the car was identified as 43-year-old Benjamin Langenderfer. He suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene during the collision.
The officials are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
