Authorities identified 42-year-old Michelle Mims as the woman who lost her life after getting struck by a vehicle Thursday in Turlock.
As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run crash took place on West Main Street, just east of Morgan Road. The officers found the victim, Michelle Mims, of Turlock, on West Main Street at around 7AM. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The preliminary reports showed that a vehicle hit her. There is no witness to the accident. No information is available regarding the suspect or the hit-and-run vehicle. Public records indicated that Mims lived close to the crash site. No further details are available.
