According to the Louisiana State Police, a fatal crash was reported on Monday in Clarence.
Authorities confirmed that 1 person died due to the accident.
Officials stated that the crash occurred on U.S 84, in Natchitoches Parish.
The victim was identified as 42-year-old Thomas Kennedy.
Kennedy was traveling westbound.
His truck crossed over into the eastbound lanes and hit a big truck.
Kennedy was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The other driver did not sustain any injuries.
No other details pertaining to the reason for the wreck remain unknown.
The crash remains under investigation by the LSP.
