The Taylor Police Department reported a two-vehicle accident on Saturday.
The accident occurred in the 4300 block of North Main Street just after 11 p.m.
According to the officials, a 2016 Chevrolet pickup was heading south when it crashed head-on into a 2003 GMC Yukon.
The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 42-year-old Daniel Garcia, incurred fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two of the occupants present in the Yukon were reported to have incurred serious injuries and were rushed to a hospital.
The officials have reported that there were open bottles of alcoholic beverages present in both vehicles. It is not yet confirmed if the people involved were impaired at the time of the accident.
The fatal accident is still being investigated.
There are no other details available at this time.
