42-Year-Old Christopher R. Cooper Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Spokane (Spokane, WA)

The Washington State Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash in Spokane on Saturday early morning. The accident happened on SR 2 at milepost 282, close to Spokane International Airport at around 2 a.m.

When a man veered off the road and struck the cable barrier, according to WSP, he was traveling east. He was launched onto the State Route 2 westbound side.

The driver incurred fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was identified by WSP as Christopher R. Cooper, 42. 

When the collision happened, he was donning a helmet. The involvement of alcohol or drugs in the collision is unknown, according to WSP. Additional details regarding the fatal crash are not available currently.
