The Los Angeles Police Department reported a pedestrian accident that claimed the life of a 41-year-old woman in Wilmington on Saturday. The accident occurred on G Street in the evening.
According to the officials, a woman and a vehicle were involved in a collision. Roughly at 7:45 p.m., a 41-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle that was travelling westbound on the road. The woman was critically injured and was immediately transported to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
