The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported a pedestrian accident in Palmdale on Friday. The accident occurred on Palmdale Boulevard near Fifth Street East at around 1:45 a.m.
According to the officials, a man and a vehicle were involved in a pedestrian collision. The man was running south across Palmdale Boulevard when he was hit by a silver Chevrolet Camaro that was headed east. He was hit by a second vehicle after that.
The man was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The officials have since identified the victim as 41-year-old Robert Fulcher.
The driver of the Camaro remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the fatal crash.
