A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday night in north Phoenix. A 41-year-old man, identified as Jonathan Rion St Cyr, was killed in the fatal crash. The pedestrian accident occurred around 8:45 p.m. at Bell Road, east of 35th Avenue.
According to the officials, a man and a vehicle were involved in a collision. Jonathan was crossing the road when he was hit by a truck. St Cyr was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officials. He was not impaired, according to Phoenix police. The investigation is ongoing. It is not yet known if the victim was impaired at the time of the fatal collision.
