According to the Washington State Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Friday in Pasco. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the pedestrian accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on State Route 395. The deceased person was identified as 41-year-old Evelio Cruz. Cruz was standing in the roadway on a ramp when he was struck by an oncoming car.
Cruz was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. Insights pertaining to the description of the vehicle are yet to be determined.
The cause of the accident has not been released. The involvement of drugs or alcohol remains unknown. The crash continues to be investigated by the WSP.
