40-Year-Old Shane Walsh Dead In A Fatal Crash In Leavenworth (Leavenworth, WA)

According to the Troopers, a fatal crash occurred on U.S. 2 about 11 miles west of Leavenworth on Saturday night. 

According to the Troopers, Phlym Anthony Gayan, 49, was travelling in his car with three other passengers westbound in the eastbound lane. He attempted to pass other cars when his vehicle hit an oncoming motorcycle. 

Shane Walsh, a 40-year-old motorcyclist from Leavenworth was killed in the collision.

The passengers in Gayan’s car were identified as Caroline Gayan, 47, from San Jose, Pierre Gayan, 17, from San Jose, and 74-year-old Robert Gomez of Tulare.

Gayan was not injured in the crash although Caroline and Pierre were rushed to Cacscade Medical Center with injuries. 

Investigators stated that all the passengers were wearing seatbelts. 

Gayan was driving a 2021 Infiniti 50 and the deceased passenger was on a 2022 Kawasaki KLR650 at the time of the accident.
