The Corona Police Department reported a hit-and-run accident on Saturday. The accident occurred in the 200 block of East Parkridge Avenue at around 10:10 p.m. on Thursday. 

According to the officials, a vehicle and a man were involved in a collision. The events leading up to the crash are not entirely clear at this time. 

The police arrived at the scene to find a man lying down on the road, surrounded by debris. The man was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The officials have since identified the victim as 40-year-old Rodrigo Hernandez. 

The vehicle involved in the fatal collision had initially fled the scene but was later found by the officials. The driver, identified as 53-year-old Samuel Reyes, was arrested on the charge of driving under the influence.
