A tragic motorcycle crash claimed the life of a Lincoln County man near Troy on Monday evening. Michael Milberg, 40, died after losing control of his 2005 Buell XB12R on East State Highway U, just east of Highway J.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Milberg was traveling east when he veered off the left side of the roadway and was ejected from the motorcycle. Despite efforts to save him, Milberg wasoy declared dead by the Lincoln County Coroner’s Office shortly before 8:15 p.m.
It was noted that Milberg was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The incident remains under investigation by authorities.
