40-Year-Old Man Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In San Antonio (San Antonio, TX)

The San Antonio Police Department reported a pedestrian accident that occurred on Saturday night. The accident happened near the 6900 block of Northwest Loop 410 Access Road around 11:20 p.m. 

According to the officials, the 40-year-old was outside his Ford Explorer, getting the carjack from the truck bed to help someone else with a flat tyre. The hazard lights on the car were activated. A red Mitsubishi exited off the main lanes of the access road and collided with the victim. The attention of the driver was diverted when something fell from the passenger seat onto the floorboard.

The victim was taken to the local hospital, where he was pronounced dead as he was fatally injured. His identity has not been disclosed at this time. It is not known if alcohol or drugs played a role in this collision.
