According to the Washington State Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Saturday in Renton. Officials confirmed that one man died due to the motor vehicle accident. Authorities stated that the collision occurred on Interstate 82.
The driver of a 1995 Ford F150 truck was going westbound on an eastbound lane. As a result of this, he struck a 2012 Hyundai Sonata. The driver of the Sonata identified as a 40-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
Insights about the identity of the deceased person remain unknown. The crash continues to be investigated by the WSP. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
