The authorities reported a multi-vehicle collision in Ventura that resulted in the death of a man on Sunday. The officials have since identified the victim as 49-year-old Guillermo Soto.
At around 12:55 p.m., multiple vehicles collided with each other on the southbound 101 freeway. Guillermo Soto was fatally injured and was pronounced dead even after being airlifted. The number of vehicles involved in the collision is unknown.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
