According to the Washington State Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Saturday night in Ellensburg. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on Interstate 82. The driver of a vehicle identified as 57-year-old Paul Harr drove in the wrong way. As a result of this, Harr struck a moving vehicle.
The driver of this vehicle was identified as 40-year-old Antonine Honanie. Honanie was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. Drugs or alcohol are suspected to be probable causes of the collision.
The crash continues to be investigated by the WSP. There are no other details available at this time.
