According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Austin on Tuesday. The crash happened at the intersection of Cameron Road and the eastbound East Anderson Lane service road at around 7:40 a.m.
According to the investigators, a sedan, a pickup truck, and a van were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident are not yet known at this time.
A 40-year-old Aciel Fernandez was identified as the passenger in the sedan who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead. The officials stated that two unknown people suffered major injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The accident is still being investigated. Additional information regarding the fatal crash is not available currently.
