The Long Beach Police Department reported a pedestrian crash that killed a 4-year-old girl in Long Beach on Saturday.
Approximately at 7:00 p.m., a pickup truck traveling eastbound on 55th Way, Paramount Boulevard, hit a 4-year-old girl. The girl was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries and was declared dead.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
