4 Police Officers and 2 Others Injured In A Motor-Vehicle Crash In Scottsdale (Scottsdale, AZ)

According to the Scottsdale Police Department, a motor-vehicle crash was reported on Saturday night in Scottsdale.

Authorities confirmed that four police officers were injured due to the accident.

Officials stated that the collision occurred just south of Camelback Road and east of Scottsdale Road in the Entertainment District.

The Scottsdale police pulled over a driver going the wrong way.

Two police officers stopped the driver and requested backup.

The driver and the front seat passenger of the vehicle ignored the officer’s requests.

The driver resisted and fought with the officers and drove away.

He injured one officer’s hand in the car door and also hit three other officers standing around the car.

He also hit two other persons crossing the street. 

The identities of those involved have not been disclosed. 

The crash remains under investigation by the SPD.
