The Laredo Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident occurred on Highway 90 on Sunday. The officials confirmed that four people died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victims were not identified.
At about 1:30 a.m., the crash happened near Highway 359 and Cuatro Vientos. A single vehicle lost control, went off-road, air-borne, and crashed. The vehicle caught fire and a total of four people were fatally injured and pronounced dead.
The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
