The incident, involving four vehicles, prompted a swift response from firefighters who arrived at the scene around 12:45 p.m., according to Pat Pawlak, spokesperson for Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority.
At the crash site, four individuals were pronounced dead, while three others with life-threatening injuries were rushed to a nearby hospital. Additionally, one person with minor injuries received medical attention.
