A heart-wrenching tragedy unfolded in Blanco County, Texas. A fatal crash claimed the lives of two children and two adults, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).
On November 22, around 7:15 p.m., troopers responded to the devastating multi-vehicle accident on US 281 near mile marker 460. A Toyota Tacoma travelling northbound inexplicably crossed the solid double yellow line into the southbound lanes. This caused it to collide with a Chevrolet SUV. The fatal crash caused a Nissan Versa to strike the Chevrolet, resulting in a rollover.
Regrettably, a man and two children in the Chevrolet were fatally injured and were pronounced dead, while the driver survived. Tragically, the Toyota’s driver succumbed to injuries at a medical facility. The identity of the victims is not yet known.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the factors contributing to this sorrowful event.
