4 People Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Austin (Austin, TX)

A devastating multi-vehicle crash in southeast Austin on Sunday afternoon has claimed the lives of four individuals and left two others injured. The multi-vehicle accident occurred in the 10500 block of the South State Highway 130 service road northbound, near Maha Loop Road, around 4:15 p.m., as reported by Austin-Travis County EMS.

At least one person was pinned in the wreckage. Despite CPR attempts, all four victims were fatally injured and were pronounced dead at the scene. An adult victim with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries was airlifted to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center.

Another person involved in the fatal crash declined treatment. The identity of the victims is not yet known at this time. 

The area is experiencing significant delays and closures, and drivers are urged to avoid the location. Further details about the victims and the circumstances surrounding the crash are pending investigation.
