According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a motor vehicle crash was reported in Hermosa Beach.
Officials confirmed that four people were injured due to the accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred at Valley Drive and Second Street.
A red Jeep and a white Dodge Pickup collided with one another.
All four injured persons were in the Jeep.
The injured persons were transported immediately to a nearby hospital.
The identities of the injured people have not been disclosed.
Speed is considered a major factor that led to the wreck.
Southbound Valley Drive was shut down temporarily for investigation and clean-up.
No further details have been made available.
The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
