On Thursday, four people were hospitalized following a crash east of Burlington.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place at approximately 10:45 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 20 and Memorial Highway. The preliminary investigation indicated that the driver of one of the two vehicles involved ran a red light and led to the accident.
On arrival, emergency personnel rushed four people to Skagit Valley Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The victims included the two drivers, a 42-year-old Kirkland man and a 61-year-old La Conner man and their two passengers. No additional information has been provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
