The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle crash on Friday night. The accident happened at I-10 close to Milepost 306 at around 8 p.m.
According to Department of Public Safety officials, the driver of a commercial vehicle traveling westbound close to milepost 306 crossed over into the opposing lane. The driver of the careless car struck another commercial vehicle, which then struck a car.
The second commercial vehicle and the car were where the four fatalities occurred. The name and identity of the victim had not been made public yet.
The collision caused the motorway to be closed until 5 a.m. Saturday. The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials. Additional information regarding the crash is not available currently.
