The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported a pedestrian accident on Thursday. The accident occurred on Loop 202, near Scottsdale Road at around 10 p.m.
According to the officials, a woman was initially hit by a commercial vehicle before being struck by several other vehicles that had been driving on the road.
The woman had incurred fatal injuries and was pronounced dead by the officials. Her identity has not been disclosed at this time. However, the officials have reported that the woman is a 39-year-old.
The cause of the fatal crash is not yet known at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role. There is no other information available.
