Authorities from Tyler, Texas stated that 1 person had been killed in a multi-vehicle crash that took place on Friday at around 4 PM. The crash reportedly occurred on SH 155 at County Road 196, a few miles south of Tyler.
The incident involved a 2003 Yamaha Motorcycle, a 2007 Chrysler Sebring, and a 2018 Toyota Rav4.
The Chrysler was stopped at a red light on County Road facing west, and the Yamaha motorcycle was travelling southbound on SH 155. The Toyota was stopped at a stop sign, facing east.
A preliminary investigation into the incident reveals that the Chrysler failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle and all the vehicles collided in the intersection. The rider of the motorcycle, 39-year-old Sean O. Leary was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in this fatal accident.
