A fatal crash struck on Saturday morning as one person was fatally injured after being struck by two vehicles on the westbound lane of 4th Street. Lubbock police swiftly responded to a collision with injuries in the 3200 block of 4th Street at 2:28 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found 39-year-old Mistrang Ndikum lying in the roadway, suffering from serious injuries. Despite efforts to save him, Ndikum succumbed to his injuries after being transported to UMC by EMS.
Ndikum was inexplicably in the westbound lane of traffic on 4th Street when he was first hit by a vehicle, and then by a second shortly after. Lubbock police are diligently investigating this tragic pedestrian accident, and updates will be provided as more details emerge.
