A 39-year-old Lomita man lost his life after a vehicle went off the side of the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway and crashed in the Carson area.
As per the initial information, the fatal incident was reported at around 12:20 a.m. at the transition to the Harbor (110) Freeway. Authorities confirmed that a 39-year-old Lomita man was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified.
A 38-year-old Inglewood man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was rushed to a hospital with major injuries. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time, No other details are available.
