According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, a pedestrian accident that occurred in Jurupa Valley killed a 38-year-old man, identified as John Bejarano, on Tuesday.
Approximately at 8:30 a.m., Bejarano was struck by a vehicle when he was crossing the road on Limonite Avenue, east of Camino Real. Bejarano was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The officials have not disclosed any details regarding the vehicle involved. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
