Michigan State Police responded to a fatal motorcycle crash on Alba Road near Franckowiak Road in Otsego County on Thursday.
Edward Leroy Wilson, 38, died in the crash. Wilson had been driving at a high rate of speed when he went off the roadway into a ditch. The motorcycle overturned several times, ejecting Wilson.
Wilson was taken to the Otsego Memorial Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
According to the police, Wilson was not wearing his helmet during the crash. His companion remained uninjured from the crash.
Additional information regarding the crash is currently unavailable. An investigation into the crash is under review.
