A tragic hit-and-run accident claimed the life of a Rio Linda man along Rio Linda Boulevard and Ephesus Avenue in Sacramento. Daniel Lee Morris, 38, was fatally injured when his motorcycle was struck by another vehicle on Saturday evening, just before 9:30 p.m.
According to Sacramento police, the driver of the car fled the scene before authorities arrived. Sacramento police are actively seeking information to identify and locate the driver responsible for the fatal crash.
The fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
