37-year-old woman hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle on South 10th Street (Santa Paula, CA)

On Monday morning, a 37-year-old woman suffered injuries after getting struck by a vehicle on South 10th Street.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place at about 11:00 a.m. on the 200 block of South 10th Street. The preliminary investigation showed that a patrol vehicle tried to make a southbound turn onto 10th Street from Main Street when it hit a female pedestrian who was crossing the road.

On arrival, emergency personnel transported the female pedestrian to a hospital with minor injuries. The identity of the injured victim has not been released at this time. No other details are immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
