37-year-old woman died after an auto-pedestrian crash in Scottsdale (Scottsdale, AZ)

A 37-year-old woman lost her life after getting struck by a car Tuesday afternoon in Scottsdale.

As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the area near 68th Street and McDowell Road just before 2 p.m. after getting reports of an auto-pedestrian accident. On arrival, responders rushed the 37-year-old woman to the hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

On the other hand, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details are available.

The incident remains under review.
