The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office reported that a Port Orchard woman with prior criminal convictions was involved in a motor vehicle accident following a police chase.
The officials reported that a trespass complaint was filed at around 6:50 a.m. on the 2800 block of West Highway 1010 west of Port Angeles.
The property owners reported that two people were sleeping in a truck in their parking lot.
They reported that drugs were seen on the laps of the people.
The Port Angeles Officer found out that the truck was reported stolen out of Kitsap County.
The woman sped off the truck as soon as the police arrived.
The suspect struck a Honda Pilot which ended the police chase.
The driver of the Pilot was taken to Olympic Medical Center for evaluation.
The woman was booked by the officials for attempting to elude police, possession of a stolen vehicle, and driving under the influence.
